Green bean porridge is a food that is usually used for breakfast in Indonesia.
This foods has high poretein that the main raw material comes from green bean. Green bean has many benefits, these are:
- Green beans have high protein
- Green beans have important minerals such as calcium and phosphorus is beneficial for strengthening bones.
- The fat is unsaturated fatty acids, so good for the heart.
- Green beans contain vitamin B1.
- Green beans also contain vitamin B2
Seasoning and cooking ingredient:
¼ kg green beans soaked in water overnight
160 gr brown sugar
100 grams sugar
½ teaspoon salt
1 sachet vanilla
2 pieces pandan leaves
1.5 liters coconut milk
500 ml of water
2 cm ginger, crushed
5 cm cinnamon
How to make:
- Boil the green beans with water, pandan leaves, ginger, cinnamon until tender andv last water remain.
- After that pour coconut milk, brown sugar, granulated sugar, vanilla, and cook until boiling,
- Remove and serve.
